Doesn't have a lot of things. Employees (older women staff members) will quite obviously follow you around the store. They pop up out of nowhere. Younger staff members who were working upfront, were very helpful and nice. Very expensive, didn't see a lot of deals. A few racks of clothing from $19.00 and down but most items appeared to be $30.00 and up.

Academy Sports is my go-to store for all things sports and outdoor gear. They offer a wide variety of equipment for football, basketball, camping, and more at great prices. The staff is always helpful and knowledgeable, and they’ve been great about answering my questions or finding what I need. I love that they carry both name brands and more affordable options, making it easy to find something within my budget. Whether I need gear for my kid’s football practice or a new pair of sneakers, Academy always has it. Great selection, great service, highly recommend!

Based on my recommendation, I was expecting a bit better overall. It does have a good selection but again, doesn't really compare to a Bass Pro or Cabela's.

This store is wonderful but half the time I go here I end up putting back what I was going to buy and walking out as they have 10 registers and only 1 or 2 open. It takes 30 to 45 minutes to check out. I just go to Dicks across the street. Will change this review if it changes.

The manager followed me around the hole store as if I was a thief I shop here all the time. This is the first time this has happened. Smh 2024 is a little late for profiling. But I still bought everything I needed to go red fishing I will return this is my favorite store

Friendly staff who guided me to the isle that I needed. As I was looking around, numerous staff asked if I needed assistance or wanted to know about the product I was looking at. Even the cashier was engaging, asked if I found everything I was looking for, and thanked me for shopping... The tennis balls I purchased were for the walker for a family member. Under $4.00 for a do it yourself project (photo attached).

Last few months the customer service has drastically decreased at this location. Tried getting help before Christmas for an item that was in the back and the guy never returned to tell me if they did or didn't have it. Then tried to return a Christmas gift two days after the 60 day limit and was told no returns no exceptions. At least other stores will offer a store credit or something.
