After I fractured my arm, I was referred to Jake in Elk River by a coworker who had seen him for a shoulder injury, after 10 months of unsuccessful PT with a different company. I have spent over 20 years (off and on) in PT for various back and knee injuries with a variety of PT’s. Without question, Jake is the best PT I have ever seen. He is professional, a problem solver, and has more tools in his tool belt than any PT I’ve seen. He clearly stays current in educating himself on anll things orthopedic. He uses both traditional exercises along with other techniques ranging from massage to dry needling and beyond. He provided me almost immediate relief from pain and tightness so that I was able to perform the needed exercises to increase range of motion and build strength. I know for a fact that I would not be where I am (being dismissed from PT) in two short months, without the expertise that Jake brings to his work. I cannot speak highly enough about him. While I hope I will not need the services of a PT again, I will absolutely come back to Jake at Ibackcheck if necessary.

Found this gem while rehabbing a recurring low back issue. Absolutely the best service! I had the most thorough assessment for my issue, more then the doctor's office, more than the chiropractor. I learned a ton and every minute spent with PT was useful and purposeful. Highly recommend!

I highly recommend iBackCheck Elk River! Professional staff that offer quality care! After my car accident, I was worried I would need surgery on my shoulder. Staff at iBackCheck Sport Therapy didn't give up on me... with PT, chiropractic care, & massage therapy they gave me hope again and gave me the mobility back that I worried I had lost. I have been seeing Christi and her team for years. I might not be a top athlete but as a mom with a busy life when I am in pain and not able to function things don’t go well. I had never seen a Chiropractor in my life so I was very nervous about being adjusted. I really don’t know why I waited so long! Christi was very sensitive to my concerns and explained what she was doing and why she was doing it! I really feel like she took the extra time to put me at ease. I have also worked with one of the physical therapist to help with some muscle imbalances. IBackCheck has it all! I have been so happy with my visits I refer the team to my friends and family! I just can’t wait until their facility opens in Elk River.

I was in a lot of neck, shoulder, and back pain and went in to see Dr. Melissa Jacobs at iBackCheck and was extremely happy with my experience! She was extremely thorough, talked me through everything she was doing so I understood, and was very attentive to my needs. Walking out of there the first day I felt like a completely different person! So much less pain and discomfort. I will definitely continue to see her. I highly recommend this clinic and Dr. Melissa!
