Store is decently laid out, prices on ammo are fair, firearm prices are high. But a good collection of camping/survival gear.

One thing to note is the firearms counter is understaffed, be prepared to wait. I also saw the firearms staff leave a gun on the counter and walk away from the customer all the way down the counter. Poor practice and could lead to theft if not worse.

What is appalling is the front checkout staff. I saw Dariel was talking with a fluffy haired fellow. They were sitting on the counter, both on their phone, and the fluffy haired fellow didn’t have a name tag on. Both were rude, chewing gum smacking lips, and didn’t say anything to me when I walked up to them. The fluffy haired fellow sat on the counter on his phone as I checked out.

Very poor customer service, disappointed.

Stopped by at 1pm on New Year's Day. There were more employees than customers in the store. Prices are every bit as expensive as Bass Pro/Cabela's. Fishing supplies, guns, ammo... all expensive. Gun prices were more than local gun shops.
And the women's restroom was filthy, with no soap and toilet paper just sitting out wherever. At 1pm in a nearly empty store!

Great experience at this store. Steve and his staff at the gun counter were very attentive and customer oriented. Plenty of staff on hand as well.

I really want to like this store, but . . . I only shop there for ammunition and shooting supplies.

On the plus side, they have decent gun and ammo prices.

On the negative, their ammo selection in store is very hit and miss. They always seem to be out of common brands of ammo that you can pick up at Bass Pro or anywhere else in stock anytime you want. It’s common to walk in and see entire sections of the ammo or accessory shelves completely empty. A significant portion of the stacks of ammo boxes have no price underneath them. And even when there are prices, the in-store vs website prices often differ. So you never really know how much the ammo is. If you buy ammo on sale, you do not get the case volume discount for buying 10 boxes at a time. Their discount codes exclude ammo purchases.

I really wanted to like this store because it’s far closer to my home than Bass Pro. But it’s where that I can get the ammo I want in stock at the store. So now I just have Bass Pro price match the sportsman’s price on the ammo and I can pick it up for that price in store at Bass Pro. ‍♂️

I go in here at least twice a month for ammo and I have only bought a firearm here once. and I have to say most (not all) of the staff at the gun counter are.... well lets just say I doubt that they have many if any repeat buyers and I would guess that the sales here have to be very low here! There is never enough staff and the ones they have couldnt have had any customer training, IMO and if the corp office is OK with the sales out of this store? I am here to tell you its got to be because of location period. FYI

Great deals on guns but not the best customer service though. There seems to be only one man that actually knows what he's doing there, really. I will only talk to him and no other employees. Customer service training is severely needed at this location, just saying.

I recently discovered SW had a local store. I live in S Ft Myers and decided to drive up and check them out. I frequent Bass Pro. SW is much smaller, but has a good selection of local needs for sports men and women. I was looking for a particular brand of rifle and talked with the gun guys. I ended up ordering a rifle online and it was shipped to the store. I want to say my experience was very good. The gun department staff was knowledgeable and helpful, from the manager on down. I do want to point out a specific employee, Ben Johnson. He is a very knowledgeable young man and also very customer service oriented. All in all a good experience at a good price with great service.

They had the spotting scope that I was looking for in stock and for a lower price than amazon.
Sales personel where extremely helpful and nice. Store is super clean and well stocked!
